RECOMMEND AND BE REWARDED

There is no better endorsement of the work we do than a candidate or client recommending a friend to us. For this purpose we operate a Recommend a Friend scheme which, as a thank you, rewards you with up to £250 worth of John Lewis vouchers. You do not need to be a registered candidate or a lawyer to be eligible for a reward. Please refer to our “Recommend a Friend Terms” below for further details.

Recommend a Friend Terms

We have created clear terms around referring another person to Haggerty Jaques. Please read the referral criteria below.

1. You must have obtained permission from your friend before you pass their contact details to us.
2.
Your friend must be able to prove eligibility to work in the UK.
3. We must be made aware of the referral – by you or by your friend – within 1 week of us having contact with the referred candidate.
4. To be eligible, you must refer a candidate to us who has not at any time already registered their details with Haggerty Jaques.
5. To be eligible for referral vouchers, the candidate you refer to us must be placed by us into a permanent
role or into a fixed term contract lasting 6 months or longer.
6. The candidate must be placed by us within 18 months of the date of your referral.
7. We will reward you with £100 worth of referral vouchers if the candidate you refer to us is placed into
a paralegal role. We will reward you with £250 worth of referral vouchers if the candidate you refer to us is placed into a qualified lawyer role or a role requiring a qualified lawyer.
8. You will be eligible to receive reward vouchers if the referred candidate is still in place once the rebate period for that particular placement has come to an end. In most cases this will be after 12 full weeks of employment but on occasion it may be after 26 full weeks of employment. We will confirm the period once the candidate has been successfully placed.
9. Only one set of referral vouchers will be paid per referred candidate.
10. No cash alternative will be offered.
11. We reserve the right to change the retailer with which the referral vouchers can be redeemed.
12. The referral vouchers must either be sent to the referrer by signed-for delivery or collected in person by
the referrer. The referrer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for arranging for the vouchers to be signed for.
We cannot accept responsibility for vouchers that are lost, stolen, damaged or expire after they have left our hands.
13. Our decision on any reward or the operation of these Terms is final.
